The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) is the world's largest professional association. The term REALTORS® is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. It is composed of over 800,000 residential and commercial real estate professionals who are brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, counselors, and others engaged in all aspects of the real estate industry. REALTORS® are pledged to a strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. NAR works for America's property owners and provides a facility for professional development, research and exchange of information among its members and to the public and government for the purpose of preserving the free enterprise system and the right to own real property.
Florida Association of REALTORS®
The Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR) is the state's largest trade association. FAR is made up of 60,000 real estate professionals and 10,000 member firms. It is headquartered in Orlando with a governmental affairs office in Tallahassee. Its services include a free legal Hotline; Florida Realtors, a business magazine; Early Bird, a daily e-mail news service; numerous educational programs; and three web sites: Florida Living Network (consumer oriented), A Big Deal.com (serving Florida's commercial realtors), and Florida Realtors Place, designed to keep members up to date on real estate news and information.

The REALTORS® Association of Miami-Dade County is the local chapter of the National Association of REALTORS®. The REALTORS® Association of Miami-Dade County also provides education and exchange of information.
